Physics Tutors Earn Top Dollar in Russia, with Informatics and English Close Behind

A recent analysis by experts at Avito Podrabotki has revealed that physics tutors in Russia are the highest paid, with a average monthly income of over 80,000 rubles. Informatics and English language tutors follow closely, earning 78,260 and 74,340 rubles per month, respectively. The top five most lucrative subjects for tutors also include mathematics, with an average monthly income of 70,950 rubles, and literature, at 69,240 rubles. However, it's essential to consider that actual earnings can vary significantly depending on factors such as the tutor's experience and qualifications, region, employment format, and the number of hours worked per week. According to Roman Gubanov, director of development at Avito Rabota, tutors often work part-time or on an hourly basis, which can result in substantial variations in income based on the intensity of their work and the number of students they teach. The data, which covers the period from January to May 2026, highlights the financial rewards of tutoring in certain subjects, but also underscores the need for tutors to be aware of the various factors that can impact their earnings.
