Anthropic Brings the Year-in-Review Trend to AI with Claude's New 'Reflection Dashboard'

Following the viral success of Spotify Wrapped, Anthropic is launching its own take on the lookback trend for users of its Claude chatbot. Dubbed a 'reflection dashboard,' the feature lets users analyze their interaction history over the past month, three months, six months, or year. The tool is now available in beta for free, Pro, and Max subscribers who have memory enabled on their chats, accessible via Settings on the web or desktop app.

The dashboard opens with a summary of key topics discussed with Claude, the types of tasks users delegate, and usage patterns such as peak hours. Anthropic says it's designed to help users 'see your patterns and shape them,' and includes options to set quiet hours or receive break reminders. A metric for total time spent using Claude is expected soon. The feature draws only from chat data, not from connected tools like email inboxes, and excludes incognito sessions or conversations tied to health integrations. Sensitive topics may appear but only at a high level.

Anthropic, which has marketed Claude as an 'AI collaborator' meant to support deeper thinking, frames the dashboard as a way to build AI skills that foster original thought. Users will see examples of their interaction styles, such as reworking email drafts in their own voice or delegating only after settling strategy. The company also plans to periodically surface reflective questions, like 'What's one thing you want to keep doing yourself, even if Claude could do it faster?'—and then offer to discuss the answer with Claude. The feature, which emerged from user interviews, is also slated to arrive on Claude Cowork soon.
