Peacock's New Feed Uses AI to Generate Millions of Personalized Bravo Experiences

This summer, Peacock will introduce a feature that represents a significant technical undertaking in personalized media. The streaming service will deploy an AI-generated likeness of Bravo host Andy Cohen to guide users through a new, endlessly customizable short-form video feed called "Your Bravoverse.

The system functions as a two-part engine. First, an AI agent, trained on extensive metadata and viewer preferences, scans and selects relevant clips from Bravo's library based on a user's chosen favorite shows. Second, a synthesized version of Cohen provides context and commentary for the selected scenes. NBCUniversal's senior vice president of product, John Jelley, stated the AI-driven architecture allows the platform to create over 600 billion distinct variations of the feed, tailoring content to specific fan interests like "an explosive walk-out.

This move into algorithmically curated short-form content aligns with broader industry patterns, seen recently with similar feeds on Disney+ and Netflix, aimed at increasing user engagement and session time. For data and machine learning engineers, the project highlights the scaling challenges of real-time content selection and synthetic media integration at a user base of millions.

Separately, Peacock is launching a mobile game, *Law & Order: Clue Hunter*, from Wolf Games, a studio co-founded by Elliot Wolf that utilizes AI to generate procedural content. Another title, *Public Eye*, will use AI to create a new daily mystery. These parallel developments signal a strategic push by NBCUniversal to leverage generative AI and machine learning models across both content discovery and interactive experiences within its platform.
